We walked home from the video shop in the RAIN!! It was AWESOME!! And the enjoyment was greatly improved by the Discovery Channel- style commentary from Connie, about the possibility of our imminent demise in these terrible conditions.By the way we got Brothers Bloom - interesting, confusing and didnt quite click and Ron Burgundy -as funny and inane as expected.
There was a little problem when we tried to buy snacks, because the three people pictured didnt think you needed any money when you go to a shopping center.
The truth is we were INVITED as guests to the video shop for our expert opinion on the choice of videos; initially, our dedicated host was willing to splurge on snacks (popcorn and special rice crackers) but was 30 cents short (only had $5) We were so embarrassed when we had to return the rice crackers to the shelf - the queue was long and everybody tried not to stare..... maybe it was unintentional, but it pays to remember one's PIN-eh? haha!
